What minimum order is required to order from BBTB?

All orders must meet a $50 total order value. In addition, orders containing fresh-cut flowers must include at least $50 worth of fresh-cut flowers. "Fresh-cut flowers" do not include flower petals.

When should I have my order shipped for a Saturday wedding?

For the vast majority of situations, we suggest a shipping day of the Wednesday before the event. Your order will arrive sometime on the following Thursday.

What does it mean when I see the notification "* __ Day Advance Purchase Required * The earliest
available ship date for this item when ordered today is _____.
" on a product?

This notification is letting you know that there is a lead time on that specific item (flower, supply, vase, etc.). A lead time is a certain amount of days we need in order to receive the product for shipment. This is an item we need to special order and bring in per your request.

When you put an item into your cart with a lead time, this will automatically adjust your available ship dates to reflect the earliest date the item can be shipped.

When does my credit card get charged?

Your credit card gets charged when you place your order.

Can I change my order before it ships and is there a charge?

You can change your order anytime but you must call customer service at (908) 791-0487 or (855) BUY-BLOOMS. We cannot process changes without speaking to you directly. There is no charge to change an order.

Does someone need to be home to accept delivery?

No. We use UPS for all deliveries. They do not require a signature, and will leave the package if no one is home. Please note that flowers left outside in extreme weather conditions may be ruined.

What time of day will my order arrive?

There is no specific delivery time guaranteed by UPS for your order. Depending on your address (commercial or residential) and the driver's route, it could be ANYTIME during the delivery day.

Do you have samples of your products?

We do not have free samples, but with our low $50 minimum order, you can order minimum quantities of any items you are interested in.

How do I figure out how many flowers I need for my arrangements?

Do you have a retail location I can visit?

No, we ship directly out of the wholesale market and do not have a retail center. Our corporate office is in Watchung, NJ.

Do I have to pay sales tax on my purchase?

Current state laws require us to charge New Jersey sales tax (7 percent) on all wholesale flower and supply orders shipped to a New Jersey address. If you are reselling the flowers, you can contact customer service with your resale certificate and sales tax will not be collected on your orders.

Will my flowers look exactly like the pictures in the website?

No. We try to be as accurate as possible, but there are often variations during the seasons, between the growers, etc. The images are a very good approximation of the products' shape and color, but some variation can be expected.

How will my flowers arrive?

The flowers you order from BloomsByTheBox.com come carefully packaged in our own specially designed shipping box. As weather conditions dictate, the flowers will be insulated from the cold or protected from the heat with cooler packs.

Some flowers will have excess foliage which will need to be removed before arranging and some varieties will have blooms that have not opened.

How do I prepare my wholesale flowers for arranging?

First and foremost your wholesale flowers need to be re-hydrated. All flowers should be placed immediately in water upon arrival. Flower saver solution can be used as well to prolong beauty.

Many varieties (especially wholesale roses) need to have one or two inches of stem removed. Roses need to have this done under water with a sharp knife. Varieties that have excess foliage can then be trimmed.

How do I know that my order has been received?

Once your wholesale flower and supply order has been processed, you will receive an email confirming your order, as well as a receipt for the products purchased.

How soon can I place my wholesale flower order?

Orders can be placed up to 45 days in advance. You select your desired ship date at check out.

Orders placed before 2:00PM EST Monday-Thursday can ship that day if desired.
Orders placed after 2:00PM EST Monday-Wednesday can ship the next day if desired.
Orders placed Friday-Sunday or after 2:00PM EST on Thursday can ship Monday if desired.

Be sure to time your order to allow 1-2 days for the flowers to come into their prime.
