When we received the news that Johanna and Matthew’s destination Virginia wedding was featured on Pretty Pear Bride, it was hard not to break out the bubbly immediately! Their wedding style is classic and simplistic taking inspiration from the autumn season by featuring rich shades of navy, burgundy and gold set again backdrops of white and green. This DIY couple incorporated endless crafty details, but our personal favorites have to be the floral chandelier and arbor the Johanna designed and created herself! When it comes to flowers, allergic reactions such as sneezing and coughing can happen for bridesmaids and groomsmen when flowers they are allergic to are used in bouquets and boutonnieres. Susie shared that flowers were one of the biggest things they saved money on because they ordered in bulk and designed all the floral details themselves! Catch My Party
Hooray! Susie and Freddie’s wedding was featured a second time! Their DIY affair was featured on Catch My Party and we have all of the details! This ultra-fun couple may have had traditional vows and dances, but it stopped there. The two booked food trucks as their catering, Susie’s mom baked all of the goodies on the dessert table and one of her bridesmaid’s designed all of the floral arrangements centerpieces from Blooms by the Box flowers!
