Summer Flower Recipe to make a Peach and Mint Bouquet
Learn what flowers you need to make this lovely peach and mint bouquet! What we love about this color scheme is that it is fitting for each season! Winter, spring, summer, or fall weddings- this bouquet is for you!
As Blooms by the Box has grown we have had the incredible opportunity to meet some fantastically talented creatives. This week our flowers became Laura Jane – Live Event Painter‘s weekend project, and we couldn’t be more thrilled that our blooms are not just a DIY arrangement beautifying a space, but a work of art.
Laura attends special life events – such as a weddings, birthday parties, or even corporate events. After reviewing the venue she will place herself in such a way that she can see a key element of the event, and then she spends her time during that event painting that key part of the event. By actually attending the event she gathers so much more depth and emotion than many photos are able. Each piece created by has it’s own charm and you can tell that she has captured the spirit of the event.
We are very excited to have our blooms turned into a work of art, equally so, we were excited to hear Laura’s experience with BBTB:
“BBTB box arrived promptly in the morning … All of the stems were very long and the flowers all in excellent shape. Upon unloading the contents of the box, it was evident that there were way more flowers there than met the eye … The anemones were my absolute favorite and continued to shift and rotate around like living things during the process of the painting … The peonies were hands down the most delicate and most difficult to paint!”
Thank you Laura for thinking of Blooms by the Box for your weekend project! Check out the whole process from arrival and her flower choice to her space, setup, and the final piece below:
The “Sorbet” Look: Modern and Fun Wedding Flowers
“Sorbet” wedding flowers and bouquets are sweet, sassy, young and fresh. A combination of rich pastels and bright hues, this look stars a radiant punch of lemon and buttercup yellows with a pop of deep coral against a backdrop of blues, spearmint, lavender, and a rich dove gray. Bridal bouquets and flower arrangements feature florals and accessories with geometric modern shapes and graphic patterns, with the feel of an updated “mod” 1950’s and 1960’s vibe.
Friday the 13th, for many sprouts ideas of bad luck. This Bride and Groom took a day many fear and turned it into something beautiful, not only that, it was indeed a lucky day, the day they said their vows to one another at a beautiful vineyard and their two families became one.
Throughout the entire day the real theme of this wedding was family. From the vendors creating cake, the mother choosing the linens, and the bride using our flowers to create the bouquets and centerpieces, everything revolved around family. Even the choice of venue – being a family owned vineyard – Khayman and Victoria said I Do in front of Keswick Vineyards beautiful 300 year old oak tree.
This Bride and Groom celebrated their new marriage on a day filled with beauty, love and our beautiful Roses in pink and white and Hydrangeas in white and blue. It truly was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple, we wish them all the luck in the many years to come.
