This article suggests that flowers will play a big part in weddings, social events, and even design this year! Some popular floral options will be tropical blooms over palms to achieve an island getaway look! Some examples could be protea pincushions<\/a>, birds of paradise<\/a>, and ginger red<\/a> to name a few. Many people will love that dried flowers will be on the radar! Dried flowers will give your event an antique or enchanted feel.\u00a0 People will also fall in love with large grasses such as pampas. This grass can be dried and bleached white for an airy look. This grass also is amazing for outdoor weddings as it sways nicely in a light breeze.<\/p>\n

Onto color, Joan states that for 2019 she predicts:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe saw a lot of ethereal pastels last year, like blush pink and powder blue, but we think people will be taking a break from the muted, dusty, look in favor of more saturated, vibrant, colors.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Bright colors seem to be making a comeback! However, of course, more traditional brides will still gravitate toward the light blush tones of roses, peonies, and hydrangeas. We can’t wait to see how our DIY brides will be expressing their creativity as well as how these trends make their appearances!<\/p>\n
