This is where it all starts, and the best part? It won’t cost you a thing. Our consultations are completely free and designed to set you up for success before you spend a single dollar on flowers. We’ll talk you through your vision, your venue, your DIY plans, and any questions you have. Think of it as your floral roadmap. Couples who start there feel so much more confident going into the process and honestly, it makes every step after this one easier.<\/p>\n

2. Build Your Master Flower List<\/h3>\n

Once we know your vision, the next step is figuring out exactly which flowers will bring it to life. This is your master flower list, the foundation of your entire order. The easiest way to get here? Sending us your inspiration photos. We love pulling apart a Pinterest board or a saved Instagram post to identify the specific blooms, textures, and color tones that are catching your eye. You don’t need to know the names of every flower; that’s our job! We’ll translate your inspo into a list of stems that will work beautifully together.<\/p>\n

3. Nail Down Your Quantities<\/h3>\n

Once your flower list is set, we’ll figure out how much of everything you actually need. Quantities depend on what you’re DIYing. Anything from bridal and bridesmaid bouquets to centerpieces and ceremony arches. We will help you work through all of it. Over-ordering wastes budget; under ordering causes last-minute panic. We’ve done this enough times to help you land in exactly the right place so you have everything you need and nothing you don’t.<\/p>\n

4. Place Your Order<\/h3>\n

With your flower list and quantities locked in, you’re ready to order. We recommend placing your order 2-4 weeks before your event for the most up-to-date and best availability on seasonal blooms. That said, if you’re a planner at heart, we do accept orders up to 3 months in advance. When selecting your delivery date, choose a date that is 3 days before your event. This gives your flowers the time they need to open up and look their absolute best by the time your big day arrives.<\/p>\n

5. Prep for Your Flower Delivery<\/h3>\n

Before your flowers arrive, a little prep goes a long way. Have clean buckets filled with fresh water waiting and ready to go. The moment your blooms arrive, trim the stems at an angle and get them into water right away. Plan to give them at least 12 hours to fully hydrate and perk up. Fresh cut flowers go through a lot during shipping, and they need time to drink and open up before you start arranging. A cool, shaded spot in your home works perfectly.<\/p>\n

6. Arrange Your Flowers<\/h3>\n

Here’s where the magic happens. Plan to do your arranging the day before your event, this keeps everything fresh while still giving you a full, unhurried day to work. Depending on how much your DIYing, you may want to recruit a few extra hands. Your bridesmaids, friends, or family members can make the whole process faster, more fun, and a lot less stressful.
