PRODUCT DETAILS

Latin for “gladius,” meaning sword, gladioli carry with them the meaning of strength of character, integrity and trust. Gladioli also symbolize infatuation. When someone gifts another with a bouquet of these flowers, they’re sending the message “you pierce my heart.” Recognized by their tall, pointed shape (our stem lengths range between 3 and 4 feet!), gladioli add height, color and drama to many floral designs. Whether you choose to incorporate these fancy peach gladiolus blooms into your special day for their meaning or beauty, you’ll be pleased with the end result.

The soft peach hue brings beauty to summertime centerpieces as well as wedding ceremony décor. Crystal vases overflowing with multiple stems of these peach flowers add elegance to a black-tie affair. When arranged in a vintage milk churn and placed at the entrance of a barn, they’ll look right at home at a rustic wedding.

Native to South Africa, Europe and the Mediterranean area, gladioli can also be cut and used by DIY brides and party planners to create boutonnieres and corsages.

Size: 3' to 4' stem length, 2"-4" blooms

Vase Life: 1 to 2 weeks depending on bud stage and environmental conditions.

Availability: Summer - Fall

Suggestions: Gladiolus are slower to bloom than most flowers, so we recommend having them delivered about 4 days before your event. To speed up the blooming process, we recommend removing the top bud from each stem as soon as you receive them, rehydrate them in warm water, and placing them in indirect sunlight before arranging them.
