How many stems of greenery and flowers do I need to make a wreath?
- 4 -5 stems of Cocculuc Greens
- 1 stem of peach Gerbera Daisy
What floral supplies will I need to make the wreath?
- Floral Scissor for trimming your flowers and greens.
- Floral Ribbon
- A wire hoop, floral wire or Rustic Wire
How do I start to make the wreath?
- Make the base by creating a circle with rustic wire, approximately 10 inches.
- Start by laying a few stems of Cocculus greenery on the rustic wire base, overlapping them slightly, and trimming stems as needed.
- Use floral wire to secure the greenery to the wire base. Wrap the wire around the stems tightly to hold them in place, creating a circle. Trim any stray stems if needed.
- Loop the ribbon through the wreath, tie it in a bow or knot at the top, and let it flow to the ground.
- Prepare the flower by cutting the stem two inches from the bloom. Directly under the bloom, poke a 4-inch floral wire into the stem. Put the flower over the bow and attach the flower to the top of the wreath. Attach the wreath to the chair using wire. Trim the ribbon at the bottom just above the floor.
