- 8 sprigs of White Wax Flowers
What floral supplies will I need to make this flower crown?
- Floral Tape
- Floral Wire
- Floral Ribbon
- Floral Scissor for trimming your flowers and greens
How do I start to make my flower crown?
- Cut two pieces of floral wire the same size. Measuring your flower crown with your desired hairstyle for special occasions like weddings is best. Make a loop on the end of the wire and wrap the two wires tightly with floral tape.
- Next, wrap the stems of the flowers. The spray rose stems should be cut approximately one inch long. Wrap the stems from the bottom of the bud to the end of the stem.
- For the wax flower, you will cut sprigs and tape them together to create little wax flower bunches by wrapping the stems. If needed, trim the bottom.
- Use the floral tape to affix the greenery's stems to the floral wire.
- Tape the stems of your first flower to your crown. Layer the spray roses and wax flowers alternating to create a seamless floral look. Attach the flowers in one direction. Layer your flowers until you're at the end and create another loop.
- Your crown can be made one day in advance and kept in the refrigerator. If you don't want your crown to get squished, place it in a safe spot and make sure it is not next to any fruit. Lightly mist the blooms with water when you are almost ready to wear.
