We are incredibly excited to share this timeless elegance wedding! The bride & groom incorporated traditional customs with classic décor. This wedding will always be timeless! The flower selection is very elegant with a pop of blush color. The blush and white garden roses are lush, white ranunculus, baby’s breath, silver dollar eucalyptus, and dusty miller.

Was there a Theme or Style?
Yes, the theme is, “Timeless Elegance.” I wanted a timeless, elegant, and classic wedding. To reflect that in my floral arrangements, I used lots of greenery and white, with blush accents.
Were there any traditions you chose to include in your wedding day? And any you didn’t?
Our ceremony was traditional with traditional vows. We shared the first dance but skipped the father and daughter and son and mother dance. We also chose to see each other before the ceremony for a “first look.” I would call myself a traditional type bride, so this was a decision that I wasn’t sure about for a while. Our photographer strongly advised us to do the first look, and I am so glad we did. The first look was such a special moment to share without the pressure of a watching crowd. It calmed our nerves, and turned out to be some of my favorite photos!
How did you incorporate DIY details into your wedding day?
With the help of a crafty bridesmaid, we made my bridal bouquet, bridesmaid’s bouquets, and all the corsages and boutonnieres.
Do you have any tips for future brides?
Be present in the time spent with friends and family during the wedding planning. The day itself goes by so fast, but the engagement and wedding planning time period is a time of celebration-and they are all celebrating you! So remember to be present and really enjoy those moments. Delegate the things you need help with to the people asking to help you, and use the time you are given to grow closer to your friends and family!
Were there any challenges that you encountered during your wedding planning? How did you overcome them?
It helps to find a balance for organization and not to be overly concerned about tiny details. Put enough thought and planning into the day so that it runs smoothly. It helps to have a “day-of” coordinator who you have met and planned with before the big day. My goal was to have everything planned and done a week before our ceremony (except the flowers of course- I was doing those the night before!). The people who had responsibilities knew what they were, and when and where they were supposed to be ahead of time.
