I think there will be a new wave of weddings in 2021, and it will look a bit different from 2020 with the world’s Covid-19 experience. We predict couples will add color to their wedding flowers and spend time crafting their own wedding décor. The biggest question is, will couples have smaller weddings now or elope instead of having a wedding? The wedding industry is confident that the new wave of weddings will be filled with love! Most couples want to celebrate with their family, young and old, and keep everyone safe. DIY weddings are more popular than ever, and we believe it will continue throughout 2021. Here is a guide to help you pick flowers for your themed wedding. We are excited to celebrate the new wave 2021 weddings, whether it is a big or small event!
Vintage Style Wedding
Vintage style wedding is romantic and refined—I think of it as a feminine style motif combining timeless memories of our past. To have a historical feel, add details to your flower arrangements such as pearls, lace fabrics, birdcages, books, suitcases, and candle holders. I recommend my favorite, garden roses, lisianthus, scabiosa, snapdragons, and anemones for this wedding style, to name a few!

Rustic Wedding
A rustic wedding holds infinite possibilities! There are so many options for DIY flower arrangements and rustic bouquets for the bridesmaids. There are various flowers to pick, football mums, stems of thistle, daisies, spray roses, waxflower, Matsumoto asters, and more! Mix your materials with rustic wood, burlap, chandeliers, fairy lights, arches, and mason jars filled with colorful wildflowers!

Modern-Chic Themed Wedding
I love modern-chic themed weddings because they can be contemporary with clean lines and monochromatic palettes. Think, exotic flowers, cascading green bouquets, or succulents for point of interest paired with your favorite flowers. Are you not crazy about flowers? Create an all greenery bouquet with a variety of textures and shades of green. Shades of pink wedding flowers are definitely a modern-chic bride’s favorite. Each bride has their own unique personality, so the best advice I can give to brides is to follow your heart when choosing your flowers.

Boho-Chic Wedding
Bohemian weddings are another favorite of mine, and the idea of having an intimate boho-chic wedding creates an unconventional fun spiritual environment for guests. A boho-chic style wedding channels the free-spirited couple. It can be decorated with flowers in rich earthy colors, dusty hues, colorful flower crowns, mixed with natural elements and greenery. If you are invited to a Boho-Chic wedding, don’t miss it! Boho weddings are a part of a soul-centered celebration.

Garden Style Wedding
When I think of garden-style weddings, you can smell the fresh air feeling and nature blooming. It is a spring or summer sunny day. The outdoor lends natural beauty and lighting to a garden-style wedding. Dress up your outdoor wedding with florals running down the aisle, freeze died-rose petals, silver dollar eucalyptus attached to the chairs, loose wedding table centerpieces, and cascading flowers down the front of your wedding cake. DIY oversized bouquets filled with peonies and garden roses. Decorate with hanging chandeliers and garden gates. If you are having a formal garden wedding, fluted glass vases filled with roses, dahlias, spray roses, and greenery is a perfect fit!

Casual Backyard Wedding
Dreaming of a casual romantic casual backyard wedding? Keep it low key and narrow down your guest list. Backyard weddings can be expensive if you are having 150 guests. Keep it intimate and celebrate with close family and friends. Decorate the background with your favorite wedding flowers, string lights, long tables, and green garlands. DIY smaller-scaled bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids and allow the beauty of the dresses to shine!
