Something Different
In need of inspiration? Here are some ideas we love for thanksgiving flowers.
- Roses in bud vases. We love the way a single stem of rose looks in a dollar store bud vase. You can mix and match colors or keep it all one color for a sleek, modern look. Ivory, orange, red, or burgundy roses would be perfect for this type of look. Even a burgundy carnation would look stunning on it’s own.
- Greenery at each place setting. A sprig of greenery at each place setting can really elevate the event. Place it on top of the napkin, tucked in, or beside the setting. Even a single stem of a mum or something fall can be an easy and cost effective way to bring fresh flowers into the mix.
- Fun colors. If you’re tired of the same fall colors, mix it up and choose one to focus on. Something like purple! You can range from lavender to deep purple and order a few bunches of flowers to mix together and have some purple touches of décor here and there. This would also be amazing with peach/orange!
- All greenery. No time for fussing with flowers? Keep it simple and go with all greenery. Tuck all different types of greenery into an array of candles, votives, and tea lights. Weather you use real or faux candles, you can spruce up a table setting with some fresh greenery here and there. Make a few small arrangements with mixed greenery to place about the table and house.
