Make your ceremony chairs look beautiful by decorating them with flowers. A beautiful DIY bouquet on the aisle chairs will embellish the wedding ceremony and look magical – making it an ideal choice for indoor and outdoor ceremonies. There is no doubt that your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. By following these simple steps on decorating your ceremony chairs with flowers, you can enhance your walk toward your special someone memorable.
Supplies Needed:
4 stems of Seeded Eucalyptus
2 stems of white Snapdragons
2 stems each of the white Tibet Roses
2 stems of Sweet Unique Roses
2 stems of yellow Button Pompons
1 stem of White Monte Casino Asters
1 stem of purple Alstroemeria
1 stem of orange Ranunculus
Chair Flower Preparation
Remove the leaves from the stem bottom up to the bloom. Keep a few leaves close to the Alstroemeria flower heads. This flower has a rich green leaf which adds to the fullness of the flower’s bunches together.
Placing the flowers
Organize the flowers by grouping them together. Set them aside. Lay out the four seeded eucalyptus stems flat. As you fan out the stems, overlap them slightly.
Add 2 snapdragons to the eucalyptus, crisscrossing the stems. Combine two stems of white Tibet roses and yellow button mums. Maintaining a flat arrangement, add two unique roses and a white monte aster stem. Thread the gerbera daisies at varying heights above and behind the roses. As a final touch, finish with a purple alstroemeria stem and an orange ranunculus stem below the other flowers.
Hold the stems together by zip-tying them. Before tightening the zip-tie, adjust the flowers if necessary. Tighten the zip tie when you have the flowers positioned the way you like them. Trim the stems to the same length.
Attaching Flowers to Ceremony Chairs
Make sure you pick the flower bouquet carefully and keep the back flat. Secure the flowers to the chair using zip ties. Wrap it with your favorite ribbon to finish it off! Take a look at our video on How to DIY Wedding Ceremony Chair Flowers and see how easy it can be.
