How to DIY a Centerpiece
For this centerpiece, we used a compote vase and floral foam.
Soak Floral Foam
The first step would be to soak the floral foam in water and placing the foam into your vessel.
Hydrangeas First
Building your base with hydrangeas. 3-5 stems per arrangement.
Roses Next
Focal flowers should usually be one of the first flowers added to an arrangement so we added 5-6 roses.
Add Carnations
Next, we add the carnations, another focal flower to balance out the roses.
Add in some Larkspur
Larkspur brings the length in this arrangement and should be balanced carefully.
Time for chrysanthemums
Next, we use the lavender pompon cushions to fill in some gaps. These are great space fillers for anywhere the foam might still be showing.
Add Lisianthus
Next we bring a little more height with the peach lisianthus. This is great for balancing out the arrangement and evening the look of the larkspur.
Time for a pop of color!
The hot pink gerberas are almost last to be added. We want to evenly distribute the vibrant flower so it’s well-balanced.
Finishing Touch
Last but not least, the pink wax flower is added to round out the arrangement and fill any small gaps!
