Steps: How to Make a Eucalyptus Garland

Making garland with bundling silver dollar, tree fern greenery.

Step 1: Spread out your eucalyptus branches on a flat surface. Gather three branches of eucalyptus and lay them down. Then, using four stems of tree fern, line the silver dollar with tree fern stems. Wrap the floral wire tightly around the stems and trim them. Be sure to prepare four bundles in advance.

Step 2: Next, use one or two stems of seeded eucalyptus and one stem of hypericum berries, and repeat step 1. Again, prepare four bundles in advance. This will give you a total of eight bundles.

Step 3: Unroll your rope or rustic wire, but don’t cut it until the garland is complete. Attach two bundles in the same direction to the rustic wire/rope. Then, attach the other two bundles of silver dollar/tree fern in the opposite direction.

Step 4: Attach the seeded eucalyptus/hypericum bundles on top of the silver dollar eucalyptus and rope with floral wire. Finally, make a small upright bundle of stems with seeded eucalyptus and hypericum berries and attach it to the center of the garland to complete the look. Click here to watch the VIDEO.
