Step-By-Step: DIY Hoop Centerpiece
You must cut the floral foam to fit inside your floral container. If the container does not have a plastic lining, place a zip lock bag in the open space and place the wet foam inside. By doing this, the container will not allow water to seep through.
With floral wire, attach your greenery to your gold ring. Place the dusty miller on the gold ring and secure it carefully. Twist the wire’s ends together to hold the greenery in place. Leave the dusty miller leaves to hang naturally.
Add bonsai eucalyptus overlapping the dusty miller greens. You can let the bonsai eucalyptus stand higher than the dusty miller.
Adding Flowers
In the next step, we will add the flowers to the floral foam. Prepare the stems by cutting them to the correct length. Then, using the container as a measurement guide for the length of stems, cut three roses to the same length, and place one anemone forward and one at the back of the container. Because this will sit in the center of the table, you want to ensure you are doing the same on both sides.
Along the sides, continue to fill in flowers. Alongside the anemone, place two lisianthus stems and add mini carnations above them.
To finish, with wax flowers (my favorite filler!) and your choice of other flower stems. Use flowers or greenery to cover as much floral wire as possible. As you create your centerpiece, keep turning it to ensure that both sides are full and there are no empty spaces.
The DIY floral hoop centerpiece is perfect for weddings, graduations, birthdays, and showers. Stylish and budget-friendly, this floral arrangement is sure to please!
