This beautiful winter wedding is featured on Wisconsin Bride!
Katie and Jacob’s DIY Wisconsin wedding featured the perfect mix of rustic elements and romantic details. They said their vows at The Barn at Harvest Moon Pond with a floral-filled ceremony and reception.

After being together for nine years, Jacob and I know who we are as a couple, and that self-knowledge shaped our goals for the day. Our wedding was intimate, authentic, and practical, with a rocking dance party–exactly what we wanted. And it only turned out that way because of our friends and family.
My mom made our delicious wedding bundt cakes (in three different flavors and four different types of bundt pans, including one shaped like a castle!). One of our best friends officiated. Another managed the music. Everyone involved in the wedding and their significant others helped us decorate the venue the morning of the wedding with hundreds of feet of string lights, all borrowed from our “Best People” (Matron of Honor and Best Man). A couple of bridesmaids, my mom, and I made the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages from wholesale flowers the day before the wedding. And our guests did some serious dancing, just as we hoped they would.
Apart from getting married, celebrating with our friends and family was the best part of the wedding. For all the couples getting married, we hope your wedding day, and pre- and post-wedding days, are filled with friends, family, and love as ours.
