This classic rustic and romantic wedding is one for the books. From the gorgeous shot at the train station to the Firehouse Restaurant, this whole wedding was overflowing with love and little details of personal touches of Groom’s hometown, England. Be sure to see all the photos below.
While wedding planning the details the bride explained the personal touches that went into their wedding decor. “I did my own decor, floral arrangements, bouquet, boutonniere, print items (invites, seating chart, signage), favors, etc. My husband is from England so we expected guests from all over the world and tried to incorporate this into our save the dates, by having a guest globe instead of guest book, etc.” And keeping true to the England’s way, the groom actually gave a toast as a groom’s speech is traditional in England.
A tip the bride shares is that “a DIY approach can be fairly stress-free when done correctly. I loved Blooms by the Box and would recommend their flowers to any bride. Budget can always be an issue. It’s important to prioritize early on in the planning process and stick to your plans. Logistically, coordinating out of town guests can be a challenge but providing a detailed wedding website with tourist information that included travel tips, hotel recommendations, and local attractions proved to be helpful.”

We’re sharing one of our favorite rustic glam themed wedding today and to start things of – our newly weds met through Craigslist. Our bride was looking for a new roommate and as fate had it all planned out – her new roommate would eventually become her forever roommate. The bride shares with us that “a little while after Darren moved in, I started to realize that I looked forward to coming home every day from work and talking to him, and a few weeks after that realization, I knew that there were sparks between us.”
