Peonies are a bride favorite, and it’s not uncommon to see the ruffled blooms in soft romantic arrangements. But with summer still in full swing, we wanted to design a summer peony bouquet that was bursting with colors and texture. So we paired tall stems of blue delphinium with coral charm peonies, and surrounded them with bright yellow fillers like solidago, yarrow and our favorite, craspedia billy balls! This is the perfect bouquet for a summer outdoor wedding and the bride who wants to stand out!

Beautiful Rainy Day Wedding
It was a rainy Virginia weekend when our DIY Lynn and Joshua tied the knot. After quickly rearranging the ceremony and reception to fit underneath the pavilion and tent, the day went off without a hitch! The late-September beauty filled the air of the Douthat State Park where the wedding was to take place, and the cozy venue nestled up next to the mountain was the perfect location for an early Autumn wedding. Delicate DIY bouquet in hand, the lovely bride made her way down the aisle with a smile as bright as the dainty yellow flowers she carried! Her beautiful blooms were supplied by Blooms By The Box, and she designed each bouquet and boutonniere with the help of family and friends! The dreary weather didn’t dampen the beauty of this rainy day wedding, instead the details of the day made the ceremony pop with color!
