8 Sprigs of White Wax Flower
Floral Wire
Floral Tape
Floral Scissors
Flower Crown Wire Base
Cut two pieces of floral wire the same size. Measure the wire for your flower crown with your desired hairstyle. Cut two wires of the same length and make a loop on end. Wrap the two wires tightly with floral tape.
Wrapping Spray Rose Stems
Cut the flower stems. The spray rose stems should be cut approximately one inch long. Start wrapping from the very top of the bloom to the end of the stem.
To create the wax flower bunches, cut sprigs, bunch them together, tape the stems, and trim the bottoms as needed.
Attach your first flower stem to your crown with floral tape. Create a seamless floral look by alternating and layering wax flowers and spray roses. Add the flowers one by one, layering them toward the end, and make another loop.
Adding the Ribbon
Last but not least, add the ribbon. Cut a piece of ribbon about 24 inches long. Fold the ribbon with one loop at the end. Loop the ends through the wire and ribbon, pulling them through. On the other side, repeat the steps.
Flower crowns can be made a day in advance. It can be kept in the refrigerator, but keep it away from fruit and food without covers. Lightly mist your flower crown with water a few minutes before wearing it.
