Here is a simple photo tutorial on how to make a boutonniere.
What you need:
1 flower
1 small piece of greenery
Floral scissors
Stem wrap
Wire (optional)
Corsage stem (optional)
Washi tape (optional)

The corsage stem and wire are not necessary, so if you are not using either of those, do not cut the stem too short and ignore those steps and wrap the stem at the length you have.
