Minimalist home décor is in, and we know the trend will be popular for weddings as well. We couldn’t think of a more perfect way to celebrate the trend than with an all-white color palette. For the most part, an all-white color palette can lean more modern and minimal, but you want to make sure you avoid things looking too sterile. We have gathered a few tips and tricks of the trade on how to pull off a stunning all-white wedding.
Mixing textures is key. When you have an all-white color palette, it can easily fall flat if you aren’t paying attention textures. Think not only about your flower choices, but also your own outfits and table linens as well. When it comes to linens, you could do organza, a subtle stripe with satin and matte fabrics, or a lovely lace for texture.
When it comes to arranging blooms, going for a more organic free-form look will also add visual interest. Contrast romantic fluffy garden roses and ranunculus with bleached dried flowers for a modern look or go classic with hydrangeas and peonies.
You also want to think about tones. If you have ever found yourself in a hardware store trying to find the perfect white paint for your home, you know it isn’t as easy as it sounds. There are many different undertones that you can choose, ranging from more yellow to green to even pink. Pairing different tones together creates a less matte look and gives your design an added interest.
