Learn “How-to” Make a Simple Hydrangea Centerpiece in just a few steps! Hydrangeas are easily accessible and are available all year round. This white and pink centerpiece is perfect for weddings, bridal shower, and baby shower. If it is a boy, replace the pink spray roses with blue delphinium or blue cornflowers. There are a few easy tips to keep in mind when you are arranging your centerpiece. First, always work in odd numbers with big hydrangea blooms, second, nestle filler flowers and greenery in-between the hydrangea stems and the last tip, keep the hydrangeas rehydrated. They need lots of water and will stay be very happy throughout your event. This “How-to” Hydrangea Centerpiece features hydrangeas, spray roses, limonium, and pittosporum.
DIY a Simple Hydrangea Centerpiece
Supplies Needed:
4 stems of White Hydrangeas
5 stems of Spray Rose Light Pink
2 stems of Limonium White
3 stems of Green Pittosporum
11” 5 x 5 x 5 Square Glass Vase
Steps on “How-to” Make A Hydrangea Centerpiece
Step 1– Pre-cut all of your flower and greenery stems with sharp, clean floral scissors. Remove any foliage below the waterline. Measure the stem length to your vase. (∗note- adjust stem length if needed when arranging.) Start with two hydrangeas. Add one to each corner of the vase and fluff to the desired positioning.
Step 2– Then add your spray roses between the hydrangeas nestled within the blooms, so they are spaced.
Step 3– Move the vase in circles as you arrange to make sure it looks full on each side. Next, add your limonium in the same fashion as the spray roses. Fill in any empty spots with cut stems of pittosporum greenery.
