If you are having a  December, January, or February winter wedding this DIY inspiration is just perfect for you. The Avante-Garde California holiday wedding designed by Lindye Galloway Events and photographed by Jessica Claire was captured on Green Wedding Shoes for our inspiration. This post serves to inspire brides who are planning a winter wedding, no matter where you are, California or Wisconsin; you can use winter greens to make elegant touches your wedding.

Holiday Green Inspired Wedding

Holiday flower arrangement

Port Oxford tips, winter berries, and lily of the valley accompanied by spray roses, and peonies can recreate this look at your wedding.

You can use holiday greens in table arrangements, boutonnieres, and larger table arrangements as you see in the pictures. To make a softer look use more fluffy textured holiday greens such as Port Oxford tips. Choose greenery with thinner needles and branches close together to replicate these arrangements. For a more solid texture use greens similar to noble fir boughs that have thicker needles and branches spread further apart. You can also use pine cones and berries to add to the theme of your holiday wedding arrangements.

Keep in mind that since greens are a filler, you can change the color scheme to fit your wedding. Roses come in all different colors that could improvise this idea in many ways.  Please share what you did in your winter wedding or what ideas you have for a winter wedding.
