We’re sharing one of our favorite rustic glam themed wedding today and starting things off – our newlyweds met through Craigslist. Our bride was looking for a new roommate and as fate had it all planned out – her new roommate would eventually become her forever roommate. The bride shares with us that “a little while after Darren moved in, I started to realize that I looked forward to coming home every day from work and talking to him, and a few weeks after that realization, I knew that there were sparks between us.”
The two truly believed in that weddings are not only a marriage of two people but two families. Sarah had a blue heart made from her grandfather’s shirt on her wedding dress, and Darren wore Viking shield cufflinks to pay homage to his heritage. Furthermore, they requested that all the guests use petals from their petal cones to shower the bride as she walked down the aisle. They had a special meaning behind everything on their wedding day.
While it did rain on their wedding day, the couple embraced mother nature and went as they planned. The sky cleared up right before ceremony and mother nature even blessed the two with a double rainbow.
