Dainty and fine are two descriptors that come to mind when we think of the Sprengeri Fern. Native to South Africa, this type of greenery is characterized by its airy, fine-textured foliage. It makes a wonderful choice for those who are looking for an affordable way to add volume to their bouquets, centerpieces and other floral designs. Also known as asparagus fern (they are a relative of the edible asparagus), each bright green stem measures approximately 30 inches from top to bottom. With its lacy texture, the sprengeri fern makes a lovely accent to timeless, romantic weddings. Group them with baby’s breath for an ethereal look, or with peonies and garden roses for ultra-formal nuptials. They make great fillers in large vase arrangements, foam arrangements and bridal bouquets, and are a delicate alternative to bolder types of greens. They also make great garlands, swags and filler for wedding floral arches. Approximately 15-18 stems per bunch.

Size: About 30" from top to bottom and 18" wide. VERY THIN, LONG LEAVES radiating from same point on each side.
Vase Life: 10-12 days depending on environmental conditions
Availability: All year
Suggestions: Great filler that will go an extremely far! It is inexpensive and large. It does tend to shed because the leaves are so small, but this is also the feature that creates fluffy texture.
