It’s officially 2020 and we are rounding up the flowers we think will trend this year and all the blooms brides will flip for!
Neutral Florals

First off, we are seeing an increase in the popularity of neutral-toned flowers. Colors such as white, off white, ivory, cream, dusty rose, blush, mauve, and rust. Bring this trend to life using florals such as quicksand roses, queen Anne’s lace, orange dendrobium orchids, dusty miller, spray rose white majolica, lisianthus, ranunculus, peonies, cafe au lait dahlias, pampas grass, peach carnations, and white kale.
Greenery

Another 2020 flower trend we are seeing is greenery with varying shades from dusty greyish green eucalyptus to bright and vibrant lemon leaf. Soft and flowing plumosus and tree fern. Pair greenery with all white flowers to give it a classic look.
Burgundy

Brides love for burgundy will not fade in 2020. We are still seeing it being used in different palettes with different styles. Burgundy carnations against an all-white palette will continue to stun and bring a sense of sophistication to the arrangements. Burgundy paired with pale pinks and peaches continues to be a popular choice as well. We see it used alongside darker counterparts such as black calla lilies and baccara roses as well!
Monochromatic

A monochromatic look will also be favored this year. Choosing one color or even shade and keeping things consistent throughout the event can really elevate your event. We love an all-white, black-tie event or a fun and flirty all pale pink bridal shower.
Metallic

Lastly, we will certainly see a rise in the use of metallics this year. From sprayed and painted greenery giving the luxe boho vibe life to mercury glass in silver and gold making a comeback. Adding gold, silver, copper, or rose gold to your color palette can really make your event pop and it brings a certain poshness to your event.
We can’t wait to see how all these trends play out in 2020! Here’s to another year of DIY brides and the brilliant ideas they come up with!
