With the new year a few days away, people begin to prepare by making resolutions and setting new goals. Basically, wiping the slate clean to start a new. But in the wedding industry, the start of a new year means a whole lot of 2011 wedding dates and preparation for the 2011 wedding season.

Apparently, the U.S. Postal Service also has brides-to-be in mind, because come 2011 they will issue the Wedding Roses stamp as part of its Weddings series. The stamp is meant for use on the RSVP envelope often enclosed with a wedding invitation and on announcements, thank-you notes, and other correspondence. Stamps may be purchased at local Post Offices, at The Postal Store website at www.usps.com/shop, or by calling 800-STAMP-24.
