How to Make a Two-toned Carnation Tree

You’ll Need…

Iron Containers
Cellophane/ plastic Lining
Wooden Hyacinth Sticks
Pre-soaked Floral Foam (Standard  and Cone Shaped)
(2) Two colors of Carnations

Prepare your Flowers 

Flowers: Carefully remove thorns and lower leaves, Cut stems at 2-3 inches. Flowers may need time to rehydrate before arranging.

Iron Containers: Line vase with cellophane and fill with Pre-soaked floral foam. Trim Lining. Top foam in vase with Cone shaped floral foam. Secure with wooden Hyacinth Sticks.

Create Your Floral Arrangements

  1. Prep Foam and Containers using preparation steps above.
  2. Using your accent color begin to create the design by adding carnations at the top of the foam working downward. Dark red pictured below in Spiral design
  3. Once accent color is filled in fill in exposed floral foam with the main color of carnations, light red pictured below.

Polish the arrangement off by misting the arrangement with water. Enjoy your stunning red carnation trees
